Shweta took a little hydrochloric acid in a beaker and dipped a blue litmus paper into it. She observed blue litmus paper turned red.
She added dilute sodium hydroxide in the same beaker and dipped a red litmus paper into it. The red litmus paper did not turn blue. Why?

Answer:Because dilute sodium hydroxide is an acid so she dipped red litmus so it can't change . if she dipped same blue litmus as like first case it will change to red as both the solutions are acid.
