Shweta wants 9 sacks of sand for making her house. If the cost of 3 sacks of sand is Rs. 540, then

To make 1 m3 of concrete of ratio 1:1.5:3

Dry volume of cement = 1.52 (52% more)

Cement quantity = (1*1.52)/(1+1.5+3) = 0.27 m3

Sand Quantity = 0.27*1.5 = 0.414 m3

Aggregates Quantity = 0.81 m3

1 bag of cement = 50 kg = 0.034 m3

So, Cement in bags for 1 m3 concrete = 0.27/0.034 = 7.94 ~ 8 Bags
