Answer:

She has 12 Rs. 50 notes, 4 Rs. 20 notes and 12 Rs. 10 notes.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of —

Rs. 50 notes = 6x

Rs. 20 notes = 2x

Rs. 10 notes = y

Therefore, 6x + 2x + y = 28

=> 8x + y = 28 —— eq(1)

Now, 6x(50) + 2x(20) + y(10) = 800

=> 300x + 40x + 10y = 800

=> 340x + 10y = 800

=> 34x + y = 80 —— eq(2)

Subtracting eq(1) from eq(2) we get —

34x + y - 8x - y = 80 - 28

=> 26x = 52

=> x = 2

Hence, putting the value of x in eq(1) we get —

y = 12

Thus, no. of each note —

Rs. 50 = 6 × 2 = 12

Rs. 20 = 2 × 2 = 4

Rs. 10 = 12
