even if the plant gets water it cannot live without sunlight. that's why the plant must have dies cuz the process of photosynthesis has not take place which results in the death of the plant

The plant died because it needs both water and ☀️ sunlight to survive . Even he can water the plant but the plant will not get sunlight in his room
