Answer:  Leela would cry so that Sidda comes and play.

Explanation:

So, in narration, when we express some other’s words as our own words it is called ‘Indirect Speech’ and on the other hand if we express someone’s word as it is portrayed so it is called ‘Direct Speech’

For an example-

1- "We're going for a Ride Today" (Direct Speech)

2- “They said, “We will go for ride today” (Indirect speech)

So here in this case we do not change reported speech if there is not reporting verb in the past form.

However we do have some exceptions (rules) for changing “Direct Speech” to “Indirect Speech” such as-

•Connective word is always used in beginning of the reported speech.

•Inverted commas are removed in indirect.

•Verb of reported speech is changed to the form and sense.

•Helping verb of the speech is changed
