side of a square tile 12cm. how many tiles can be placed on a floor which is 3.6cm long and 2m wide answer

area of single square tile=12×12=144cm^2
length of the floor=3.6cm
breadth of the floor=200cm
so, area of floor=3.6×200
=720cm^2
total number of tiles=720/144
=5
hence ,the number of tiles is 5
