Given ,

side of equilateral Δ = 3.6 ± 0.06 cm

We know that , the area of equilateral triangle is given by

  \boxed{ \tt{Area = \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{2} \times  {(a)}^{2}   }}

So ,

 \boxed{ \sf{ \frac{ \Delta Area}{Area}  = 2 \frac{\Delta a}{a} }}

Thus , percentage error in area of triangle will be

 \tt \implies 2 \times  \frac{0.006}{3.6}  \times 100

 \tt \implies \frac{2}{6}

 \tt \implies 0.33 \: \%

The percentage error in area of triangle is 0.33 %
