Side of solid metallic cube is 60 cm.the cube is melted and recast in 8000 equal solid cubical dice. Find the side of each dice.

The side of large metallic cube = 60 cm
Hence its volume  = side * side * side  = 60*60*60 = 216000 cubic cm.

Let the side of small cube be a.

Volume of 1 small cube = a*a*a
Volume of 8000 small cubes = 8000*a*a*a

Here the important point is that, the volume of large cube is equal to the volume of 8000 cubes.

Therefore, 8000*(a^3) = 216000

From this equation, find the value of a.
