Answer:

Let the sides of the rectangle be 5x and 3x

Area = 5x*3x

= 15x²

Given that,

Area = 3.75 hectares

[1 hectares = 10000 m²]

Area = 3.75*10000

= 37500m²

According to the problem,

15x² = 37500

=> x² = 2500

=> x = 50m

Therefore, length is 5*50 = 250m

and breadth = 3*50=150m

Since,

perimeter= 2(length + breadth)

=2(250+150)

= 2*400

= 800 m

Perimeter of the rectangle is 800 m.

Area of rectangle = length x breadth

3.75= 5x x 3x

3.75 = 15x^2

3.75/15=x^2

0.25=x^2

x = 0.5

Length = 5x =5 x 0.5 = 2.5

Breadth = 3x = 3 x 0.5 =1,5

Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(l+b)

Perimeter =2(2.5+1.5)

Perimeter = 2 x 4

Perimeter = 8
