QUESTION:- Sides of a triangle are 16cm 30cm 24 cm respectively . its area is

ANSWER:-

First we will do its semi-perimeter , which is

s =  \frac{a + b + c}{2}

 s =  \frac{16 + 30 + 24}{2}

s =  \frac{ \cancel{70}}{ \cancel2}

s = 35

Now, using Heron's formula

 \sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)}

 \sqrt{35(35 - 16)(35 - 30)(35 - 24)}

 \sqrt{35 \times19 \times 5 \times 11 }

 \sqrt{7 \times 5 \times 19 \times 5 \times 11}

Now, here 5 is common so we will one 5 outside the root and multiply all numbers in the root

5 \sqrt{7 \times 19 \times 11}

5 \sqrt{1463}

So, the area of the given equation is

5 \sqrt{1463}
