use \: herons \: formula \\  \sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)} = area =  \sqrt{x}  \\ s =  \frac{10 + 9 + 5}{2}  \\ s = 12 \\  \\   \sqrt{12(12 - 10)(12 - 5)(12 - 9)}  =  \sqrt{x}  \\  \sqrt{12 \times 2 \times 7 \times  \times 3}  =  \sqrt{x}  \\ sq \: both \: sides \\ x = 24 \times 21 \\ x = 504
