sides of a triangle are in ratio 12:17:25 and it's perimeter is 540 m. Find it's area

let the sides be 12x,25x and 17x

we know that P= a+b+c

540m= 12x+25x+17x

54x= 540m

x= 10m

Therefore their sides are

12x= 12×10m= 120m

17x= 17×10m= 170m

22x= 22×10m= 220m

To find the area we need S

S = P/2= 540m/2= 270m

Now area can be obtained by applying heron's formula
