Answer: 104976

Step-by-step explanation:

let the sides be 12x, 17x and 25x

perimeter of a triangle= a + b + c

540 = 12x + 17x +25x

540 = 50x

x = 540/50

x= 10.8

therefore, a= 12x= 12*10.8 = 129.6

                 b= 17x= 17*10.8 =183.6

                 c= 25x= 25*10.8 = 270

by using Heron's formula,

semi-perimeter= a+b+c/2

                      s = 129.6+183.6+270/2

                      s = 583.2/2

                      s = 291.6

area= √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

      = √291.6 (291.6-129.6)(291.6-183.6)(291.6-270)

      = √291.6 * 162 * 108 * 21.6

      = √11019960576

      = 104976 sq.cm (whatever is the measurement)

Hope it helped you :)

Answer:

area =√9000

Step-by-step explanation:

p=a+b+c

540 =12x+17x+25x

540=54x

x=10

12x=12*10=120

17x=17*10=170

25x=25*10=250

S=a+b+c/2

S=120+170+250/2

=540/2

=270

area of triangle =√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

=√270*(270-120)(270-170)(270-250)

=√270*150*100*20

=√27*10*15*10*20*5*20

=√3*3*3*10*10*3*5*20^2*5

=√3^2*3^2*10^2*5^2*20^2

=√9000.

hope it helps
