Answer:

The sides of the triangle are 120cm 170 cm and 250cm

Explanation:

Perimeter of a triangle is the sum of all it's sides

So therefore,

12x+17x+25x=540cm

54x=540cm

x=540÷54

x=10r

Find the sides:

12x=12×10

=120cm

17x=17×10

=170cm

25x=25×10

=250cm

Answer:

let the side be x

therefore sides are

12x, 17x, 25x

perimeter = 540cm

12x +17x + 25x = 540

54x = 540

x = 10

therefore sides are

120cm, 170cm, 250cm respectively

for finding the area of triangle,

applying herons formula,

s = 540/2

s = 270cm

area of triangle = √s(s-a) (s-b) (s-c)

= √270 (270-120)(270-170) (270-150)

√270 * 150 * 100 * 20

√81000000

9000 cm²

therefore area of triangle = 9000cm²
