Given:-

sides of triangle are 100 cm 120 cm 140 cm.

To find :-

Area of the triangle .

Solution :-

Area of triangle by heron's formula = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

Now,

          Semi perimeter  's'= sum of all sides of triangle/2

           Therefore,

                      100+120+140/2

                    =360/2

                   =180cm

Now,

              Area of triangle=√ s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

                                      = √180(180-100)(180-120)(180-140)

                                      = √180(80)(60)(40)

                                      =2400√  6  

we know , √ 6=2.5

    therefore,        =>  2400× 2.5

                           =6000cm square
