Sif the cost of fencing a rectangular field at rs 7.50 per metre is rs 600, and the length of the field is 24m, then the breadth of the field is?

Here is your answer.....

fencing means perimeter....

Perimeter = 2×(l+b)................(eq-1)

and......


Perimeter =
=total fencing cost / fencing cost per meter
=600/7.50 = 80......................(eq-2)

from eq 1 and 2 we get.....

2×(l+b)=80
and length (:- l=24m)
so...

24+b = 40....
b=16m
