There are two main reasons responsible for this →
1. six large chloride ions can't form bond with Si^+4 due to limitation in size .
2. interaction between the lone pair of Cl- ions and Sr^+4 is not very strong.

SIZE OF FLUORINE IS SMALL AND ITS LONE PAIR OF ELECTIONS INTERACT WITH d-ORBITAL OF SI STRONGLY.
So [SIF6)] -2 IS KNOWN WHEREAS [SICL6]-2 NOT
