Mouth watering at the sight of tasty food is called Salivation. Salivation is a nerve-mediated reflex. On the sight of food, how much saliva produced in mouth is depends upon the intensity and type of taste and also on tactile stimulation.
Moreover , a reflex action is defined as an involuntary response shown by body in response to a sudden stimuli.
