(i)On 20 June 1789, representatives of the third estate assembled in the Hall Of an indoor tennis court in the ground of Versailles.
(ii)they declared themselves the national assembly.
(iii)they vow not to disperse till they had drafted the French constitution.
(iv)this change in constitution would limit the powers of the monarch.
