The julius caesar funeral speech has a witty significance.Mark Antony firstly used his presence of mind to save his life from the conspirators by agreeing what they say and also opposing julius caesar's deeds. But indeed he had a plan to give justice to his beloved friend. When he made conspirators sure that he was not in favor of julius caesar they gave him the power to explain the people of the kingdom about his death. He in his speech very intelligently displayed that those conspirators were the one responsible for the murder of the great king and also expressed qualities and love for the dear friend. He directly did not targetted them because if he would have done so then the conspirators would have killed him as well...he was successful in his plan and the public surrounded the criminals and bursted their anger out. By his speech he was able to convey that julius caesar had no fault and was a great ruler along with giving punishment to the wickeds through people itself.
