Silicon is very widely found in nature.
It is found in abundance. Silicon is in sands, in soil, in rocks.

Silicon is easy to mass produce. It is widely found.

That's why almost all the materials in chips in our mobile, computer, TVs are made of Silicon.

Silicon is the best option economically and it also works like charm.
