Silicon is a semiconductor, amphoteric metal and also moderately reactive.

When Silicon metal reacts with dilute hydrochloric acid a displacement reaction takes place and silicon tetrachloride and hydrogen gas as bubbles forms.

Si (s) + 4 HCl (aq) ------› SiCl4 (aq) + 2H2 (g)

I hope this will help you.
