PL = (2y + 1) cm . Find 'y'

in rectangle SILK  SL AND KI ARE DIAGONAL WHICH ARE EQUAL

SP = PL (P is the intersecting point and diagonals bisect each other so SP =PL)

SL = SP+PL (SP = 2y+1)

    =2(2y+1)

     =4y+2

KP=PI

KI=KP+PI        ( PI=3y-1)

   =2(3y-1)

=6y-2

we know that -

SL =KI

4Y+2=6Y-2                    2+2=6Y-4Y                 4=2Y            2=Y         Ans.
