Silver and Gold can be found in Pure state in nature but not iron,why?

Answer:

Iron is more reactive than gold . It can form compounds more easily and is hence placed above hydrogen in the reactivity series.It is mostly found in the form of iron oxide after reacting with oxygen and water . So , Gold is found in free state but iron is not.

Gold and silver are compounds which mean that they are already in purest forms and cannot be further purified. While iron is not a compound and hence is not in a pure state .
