yeah, silver has completely filled d- orbital. as we can see electronic configuration of silver , Ag = [Kr]4d^10 5s^1. but according to definition of transition elements, “The transition elements are those elements having an partially filled d-orbital in its ground state or in any common oxidation state.”
we know, silver has two stable oxidation states (+1 and +2).
here electronic configuration of Ag+ = [Kr]4d^10 5s¹ doesn't show behaviour of transition elements but electronic configuration of Ag²+ = [Kr]4d^9 5s^0 has incomplete d-orbital so, it shows behaviour of transition elements.
that's why Ag is a transition elements.
