First of all, let's imagine the equation:

Ag + Zn(NO_{3})_{2}\rightarrow AgNO_{3}+Zn

So, this above imaginary equation is not possible.

  • This is simply because Silver (Ag) is less reactive that Zinc (Zn).

  • Due to lesser reactivity, silver will never be able to displace zinc from zinc nitrate.

  • Also , Silver lies below Zinc in the reactivity series.

So, zero moles of Zinc will be produced.
