Answer:

so p=4/3

Step-by-step explanation:

given equations are ;

4x+6/y=15 (eq 1)

6x-8/y=14(eq 2)

we have to multiply eq 1 by 3 and eq 2 with 2,we get

12x+18/y=45(eq 3)

12x-16/y=28(eq 4)

on subtracting eq 4 and 3 we get

12x+18/y-(12x-16/y)=45-28

  • 18/y+16/y=17
  • 34/y=17
  • y=34/17=2

on putting y=2 in (1) ,we get

4x+6/2=15( here we will cancle 2 with 6)

4x=15-3=12( here the left side 3 comes to the right it becomes minus )

4x=12

x=12/4 ( here we will cancle 4 with 12(

so x=3

y=px-2

  • 2=p(3)-2
  • 3p=4
  • p=4/3
