Rectangle is a spacial type of parallelogram. We can say this by the following reason :

ⓘ)) Parallelogram has opposite side equal & rectangle also have opposite sides equal.

ⓘⓘ)) Parallelogram has diagonals which intersects at 90° & rectangle too have the same feature.

The difference between a 'parallelogram' & a 'rectangle' are:

ⓘ)) Rectangle have all 90° angles, while parallelogram do not have that.

ⓘⓘ)) Every rectangle can be said as a parallelogram but every parallelogram cannot be said as a rectangle.
