Tidal Power refers to the type of power generated by the movement of water according to tides. These tides occur due to the gravitational pull of Moon and Earth.
Wave power refers to the type of power generated from kinetic force of waves.
Hydroelectric power refers to the type of power generated from height difference between bodies of water. It is generated by developing dams and other forms of stored water for movement of turbines when needed to generate power.
The similarities they share is that they are all generate power from bodies of water. Tidal and wave power generate kinetic force directly but hydroelectric power generate potential force that is converted to kinetic force.
