A Function is a relation in which every element of the domain is paired with precisely one element in the range.

Two kinds of functions are the exponential functions and the logarithmic functions.

  • Exponential functions are the functions that are the form of y = ax, where "a" is a positive real number which is greater than zero and not equal to one.

  • Logarithmic functions are the inverse of exponential functions which means y = loga x, where "a" is greater than zero and not equal to one.

The Similarities Of Logarithmic And Exponential Function Are:-

  • The product rule for the logarithm and exponential functions are similar because the logarithm of the product comprises the addition and similarly, the product of exponentials comprises the addition.

  • The logarithm function is the contemplation of the exponential function across the line y = x.
