The similarities between Sufi and bhakti movement are...
1) Both of them emphasised on the feeling of universal brotherhood and religious tolerance. As a result, an environment of mutual love and respect was created among different sections of society.
2) They both spread their knowledge in common language.
3) Both of them spread religious tolerance as a result of influence of the sermons of the saints of Bhakti Movement and Sufism, religious fanaticism grew less among the people. Even Sultans of Delhi and the Mughal rulers too were influenced by their sermons and they followed liberal policy.
4) They both emphasized in social services. They both worked for the welfare of the society and motivate others too.
