There were many similarities between German Nazism and Mussolini’s fascist system, but there were also some important differences. Analyze.(250 words)
Fascism is an Hodge podge ideology .It can be based on anything may be the superiority or rcae,superiority of nation in case of Italy ,it may be on any other factors such as religion.The political leaders can create oneness amongst a particular class on any factor that benefits them.
Both german Nazism and Mussolini are facist regime where both consider themselves superior .Both germany and Italy wanted to expand there empires for larger land for there people .They both were anti communism.Both had the support of people with them.Both were anti democratic and both wanted to create an totalitarian state where state has the maximum power and there is nothing like rights of people.Both of them were against international based order and both wanted to make there country self sufficient so that the trade with outside world remains minimum.
Differences
Nazism under Hitler took deeper roots in german society as considered to fascism in Italy which led to killing of large number of jews.
The Italian fascism was not as brutal as in case of germany
Mussolini was more successful than Hitler with his religious policy after his agreement with the pope in 1929
Fascism as ideology seems good to masses who are not able to judge the real motive and the catastrophic effects fascism can take. The rise of right wing all over the world Trumph in USA where the countries are turning more protectyionist and inward looking may generated fascism tenadancies in future.
