(Similarity and Transformations)- Jenna is creating a mural for her bedroom wall. She would like to copy a picture that is 2 inches by 2.5 inches. She uses a copy machine to enlarge it by a factor of 4. Then she projects it on her wall at a factor of 12. What are the dimensions of the mural? Are the pictures similar? please answer ASAP.

HEY MATE

The dimensions of the mural are 96 in by 120 in.

Explanation:

First, start with the original dimensions:

2 in by 2.5 in

Because you're enlarging it by a factor of 4, both sides will be multiplied by 4.

2x 4= 8

2.5 x 4 = 10

Now, the dimensions are

8 in by

10 in.

"Then she projects it on her wall at a factor of 12."

Repeat the same process, but with the new dimensions:

8 in x 12

= 96 in 10 in x

12 = 120 in

Therefore, the dimensions of the mural are 96 in by 12 in.

HOPE IT HELPED ✌️❤️❤️
