Hyadathodes are present on the margins or the vein endings while stomata on surface of leaves.

Guard cells of Hyadathodes are immovable they remain open all time but in stomata guard cells show movement and control the opening and closing of stomata.

From hyadathodes water is lost in form of water drop containing minerals also while from stomata only water is lost in form of vapours.
