Difference between aerobic respiration and anaerobic respiration:

  • During aerobic respiration, carbon dioxide, water, and ATP are produced. During anaerobic respiration, lactic acid, ethanol, and ATP are created.
  • Aerobic respiration produce 38 molecules of ATP while anaerobic respiration produce 2 molecules of ATP.
  • In aerobic respiration, more energy is produced but in anaerobic less energy produced.
