( \frac{1}{2} ) {}^{2}  +  \sqrt{0.25}

(1/2)² + √0.25

= 1/2 × 1/2 + √0.5 × 0.5

= 1/4 + 0.5

= 1/4 + 5/10

= 5 + 10/20

= 15/20

= 3/4

( { \frac{1}{2} })^{2}  +  \sqrt{0.25}  \\  =  \frac{1}{ {2}^{2} }   + 0.5 \\  =  \frac{1}{4}  +  \frac{5}{10}  \\  =  \frac{5 + 2}{20}  \\  =  \frac{7}{20}  \\  =  \frac{35}{100}  \\  = 0.35
