1.) In what time will Rs. 800 amount to Rs. 1120 at 8%rate? (ans:-5years)

2.) The interest for 3 years on Rs. 2400 is Rs. 576.Find the interest on Rs. 4200 for 2 years.( ans:- Rs.672)

1). A= Rs1120

P=Rs800

S.I=?

S.I=A-P

S.I=1120-800=320

R=8%

T=?

We know that, T=S.I×100/P×R

T= 320×100/800×8

T=320/8×8= 40/8= 5years

Hence, the Time = 5years. answer

2). Given, T=3yrs

P= 2400

S.I= 576

A=P+S.I

A=2400+576= Rs2976

R=?

We know that,R=S.I×100/P×T

R= 576×100/2400×3

R= 576/24×3

R=576/72= 8%

Now, P=Rs- 4200 , T=2yr , R=8%

S.I= P×R×T/100

S.I= 4200×8×2/100

S.I= 42×8×2= Rs-672

Hence,the S.I= Rs- 672. answer
