Answer:

\\

Simple Interest = $ 4050

Amount = $ 19050

\\

Given:

\\

Principal (P) = $ 15000

Rate (r) = 4.5%

Time (t) = 6 years

\\

To Calculate:

\\

Simple Interest for 6 years.

\\

Explanation:

\\

Simple Interest Formula:

\\

SI = \dfrac{P \times r \times t}{100}\\

Here,

P = $ 15000

r = 4.5%

t = 6 years

\\

Substituting these values in Simple Interest Formula, we get:

\\

SI = \$\:\dfrac{15000\times4.5\times6}{100}\\SI = \$\:\dfrac{150\times45\times6}{10}\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\\SI = \$\:270\times15\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\\SI = \$4050\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\\

Therefore, the answer is $ 4050.

\\

Simple Interest = $ 4050

Amount = Principal + Simple Interest

Amount = $ ( 15000 + 4050 )

Amount = $ 19050
