there are many things u can do with waste, it depends on your imagination and creativity. for ex- take 2 straws dip 1 in water and blow with another straw kept at 90 degrees at the top of the first straw, the water will rise up

we can make so many simple machines through  waste depending on your imagination for eg-pulley
create a pulley with a grooved wheel & length of rope. attach the rope to the rod &  demonstrate  the pulley with a bucket of sand & rocks.  show the pulley can move the load up & down.
