Simple pendulum at extreme position both acceleration and disaplcemen are in same direction

Initially, velocity is maximum means the Kinetic Energy is at peak, now we knows energy can convert in different forms.

In SHM, let us consider the pendulum at its extreme position that is, it is full of Energy which is potential energy.

Now the Potential Energy start to convert into Velocity, that is it is pulled towerds the center of earth with gravity and which curves around the string of pendulum… here it reaches to mean point, that is the point where velocity is maximum…

Now acceleration is the rate of change of velocity but here for instance the kinetic energy needs to overcome the momentum of pendulum as it goes upside again. Means again the kinetic energy conversion into potential energy starts. This signify the reduction in velocity.

So at instance the velocity tends to increase and decrease at the same time resulting no change in velocity and further reduce till the cycle.

Now as there is no change in velocity, there is no accelation that is Accelation is Zero
