How often do you compliment the people around you? How often do you just stop and stare at the starry sky at night? How often do you just bask under the sun for no reason at all? I'm sure majority of you would say 'no' in response to these questions.
Why is it that we don't even have time to thank the people around us who have made our lives easier like our mother, helpers etc. ? Why is it that we don't appreciate the beauty of nature? It is because of out hectic modern lifestyle. We spend more time with our electronic gadgets than we do with our parents or even with ourselves!
We have forgotten what bliss can the trivial things in life bring us. We have forgotten what it is like to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon with our family, talking about the old times and simply enjoying the moment.
A task as simple as reading a book or talking to a dear friend can trigger the chemicals in our body which make us happy. In today's competitive world, we have forgotten who we truly are and it is never too late to rediscover ourselves.

How frequently do you provide praise to those around you? How often do you simply pause and gaze up at the night sky? How frequently do you simply lay out in the sun without any purpose? I'm confident that the majority of you would respond "no" to these inquiries.
Why is it that we don't even have time to express our gratitude to those who have helped us, such our mother and other caregivers? Why do we not recognize the splendor of nature? Our modern, hurried lifestyle is to blame. Our technological devices occupy more of our time than our parents or even ourselves.
We have lost sight of the joy that even the little things in life may bring. We no longer remember what it was like to relax with our family on a Sunday afternoon while reminiscing about simpler times.
Simple activities like reading a book or talking to a close friend might cause our bodies' happy-making hormones to be released. We have lost sight of who we really are in today's competitive environment, but it is never too late to find ourselves.
