eg; 3;4=3/4

so we can write 1/4:1/8:1/2

as 1/  4/1   /8/1   /2

fraction /fraction = multiply the reciprocal of denominator to numerator

so it is

1 x 1/4 x 1/8 x 1/2

= 1/64

=1:64

we can write  7/6:7/4:7:3

as 7/   6/7    4/7/3

fraction /fraction = multiply the reciprocal of denominator to numerator.

7 x 7/6 x 7/4 x 1/3

=343/72

=343:72
