(3x + 7y) { }^{2}  - (3x - 7y) {}^{2}

apply the identity
  {x}^{2}  -  {y}^{2}  = (x + y)(x - y) \\ ( {3x + 7y)}^{2}  - ( {3x - 7y)}^{2}  \\  = (3x + 7y + 3x - 7y)(3x + 7y - 3x + 7y) \\ =  (3x + 3x)(7y + 7y) \\  = 6x(14y) \\  = 84xy
