EXPLANATION.

Method = 1.

\implies (16)^{-1/4}  \times \sqrt[4]{16}

As we know that,

We can write equation as,

\implies \dfrac{1}{(16)^{1/4} }  \times \sqrt[4]{16}

\implies \dfrac{1}{\sqrt[4]{16} } \times \sqrt[4]{16}  \ = 1

Method = 2.

\implies (16)^{-1/4}  \times \sqrt[4]{16}

\implies (2)^{(-4/4)}  \times  \sqrt[4]{(2)^{4} }

\implies (2)^{-1}  \times (2)^{(4 \times 1/4)}

\implies (2)^{-1}  \times (2)

\implies \dfrac{1}{2}  \times 2 \ = 1.

Option [B] is the correct answer.
