( { \sqrt{x} - 1 })^{2}  = 8 -  \sqrt{28}


x + 1 - 2 \sqrt{x}  = 8 -  \sqrt{28}


x -  2\sqrt{x}  = 8 -  \sqrt{28}  - 1


x -  2\sqrt{x}  = 7 -  \sqrt{28}
