Yes, but I have to convert to LCD, then go. I can intuit it’s a little less than two, if I convert to percentages (.33 plus .25 plus .20). But to be more precise, I get 120 as the LCD. So we get 20/120, 24/120, 30/120, 40/120, 60/120, 120/120. 294/120; LCM 2; we get 147/60, which is 2 and 27/60, or 9/20.
A lower LCD would have made things easier though. But yes, this can be done without the calculator. And the intuition was wrong, but not terribly so.
Math is tricky; I forgot to add 1/6, or 20/120. Double checking seems like a good idea.

Answer:
17/60
Step-by-step explanation:
1/5-(1/6-1/4)
=l.c.m of 6 and 4
=12
=1/6x2/2=2/12;1/4x3/3=3/12
=1/5-(2/12-3/12)
=1/5-(-1/12)
=1/5+1/12
=l.c.m of 5 and 12=60
1/5x12/12=12/60;1/12x5/5=5/60
=12/60+5/60
=17/60
