  • As per the data given in the question, we have to find the value of the expression.

           Given data:- 12+9\div3.

           To find:- The value of the expression.

           Solution:-

  • To solve the above equation we will follow the BODMAS rule.
  • It is the rule used to remember the order of operations to be followed while solving expressions in mathematics.

       where,

            B= brackets\\{O}=\text { order of powers or rules } \\\mathrm{D}=\text { division } \\\mathrm{M}=\text { multiplication } \\\mathrm{A}=\text { addition } \\\mathrm{S}=\text { subtraction }\end{array}

     Therefore,

           12+9\div3\\=12+3\\=15.

      Hence we will get the value 15.

As per the data given in the question,

we have to determine the value of the given expression.

From the data,

It is given data:- 12+9\div3.

For finding the value of the above equation we will follow the BODMAS rule.

As we know that,

From the BODMAS rule,

B= brackets\\{O}=\text { order of powers or rules } \\\mathrm{D}=\text { division } \\\mathrm{M}=\text { multiplication } \\\mathrm{A}=\text { addition } \\\mathrm{S}=\text { subtraction }\end{array}

So, applying the BODMAS rule,

We will first solve division then addition.

Thus we will get,

12+9\div3\\=12+3\\=15.

Hence value of the given expression will be 15.
