( \frac{ - 2}{3}  \times  \frac{6}{8} ) - ( \frac{4}{9}  \times  \frac{3}{2} )

 =  \frac{ - 1}{2}  -  \frac{2}{3}

 =  \frac{ - 3 - 4}{6}

 =  \frac{ - 7}{6}  \: or \:  - 1 \times \frac{1}{6}
