Answer :

Now,

(2³⁸ + 2³⁷ + 2³⁶)/(2³⁹ + 2³⁸ + 2³⁷)

= { 2³⁶ (2² + 2 + 1) }/{2³⁷ (2² + 2 + 1) }

= 2³⁶/2³⁷

= 2³⁶⁻³⁷

= 2⁻¹

= 1/2,

which is the required value.

Your question needs a correction,

Correct question : [2^(38)+2^(37)+2^(36)]/[2^(39)+2^(38)+2^(37)]

×××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××

Solution :-

 \frac{ {2}^{38}  +  {2}^{37}  +  {2}^{36} }{ {2}^{39} +  {2}^{38}   +  {2}^{37} }  \\  \\

Taking common,

 \frac{( {2}^{36} )( {2}^{2}  + 2 + 1)}{ ({2}^{37})( {2}^{2} + 2 + 1)  }  \\  \\  \frac{ {2}^{36} }{ {2}^{37} }  \\  \ \\ \\  \frac{1}{ {2}^{37 - 36} }  \\  \\  \frac{1}{{2}^{1} }  \\  \\  \frac{1}{2}

I hope this will help you
