Answer:

To simplify : (2x +3y+7)-(4x-9y-8)

Solving Question :

we can simplify it by opening brackets and then simplify it .

Solution:

(2x+3y+7)-(4x-9y-8)

open brackets

2x+3y+7-4x+9y+8

make the pair of common terms

2x-4x +3y+9y +7+8

then, add or subtract it as the situation demands

-2x + 12y+15

Thus the answer is -2x+12y+15

Therefore the simplified form of (2x+3y+7)-(4x-9y-8) is  -2x+12y+15
